Just rings a couple of times each week, I haven't answered it because the number is not familiar to me, hopefully they will get the message that no one is answering and stop, but I don't think they are that clever.

You answer and they ask if this is "first name" then they say anything after that. I then asked who is this and was hung up on and when i try to call the number it says my call cannot be completed.

yeah...they called me too saying his name was HERMAN NEWMAN. whatever.....when he threatened to come to my job and arrest me i was so tickled that i started laughing and he hung up on me. Yes they do know too much info. about us but they cannot do anything with it unless they want it to be traced back to them. You have to agree to them doing so before they can take anything from your account. The game is to scare you so bad that you will do anything to avoid jail then you will agree to them taking money from you account to pay the dept off. Once you agree they got you. Hang up on them or harrasse them back like I do. The number is still good for now.

Get at least 1 call a week from this number. I answer the phone and it disconnects. When I call it back I get a "not in service" recording. I did some online research and found out it's a telemarketer trying to sell nutritional supplements. I'm on the Do not call list so I filed a complaint on that website. I've also sent an email to the TX State Attorney General's office warning them that apparently there is some type of scam going on they might want to investigate.

I refuse to answer unknown calls, but I keep getting a call from this number. I have a Net 10 phone, btw...Seems to be a big problem with Net 10.

Male caller to my home phone at 6:58 am asked for someone by name and said he was from "Northwest". Hung up when asked for the last name of the person he was supposedly trying to reach.

I purchased a gift subscription for a friend over a year ago. I did not renew the subscription. I have called and formally requested that USA Today stop harassing me over renewing on 4 separate occasions during the past month. On each occasion, I have told them it was a gift for someone else, I am not renewing the subscription nor do I want a subscription for myself. I have formally called and requested they stop calling me 4 times. If I tell the rep who calls me to stop calling, they hang up and call back a few hours later. Since I last formally called USA Today and asked them to cease and desist, they have called me 18 more times (during the past 9 days) which I am now logging. They will normally harass me twice a day.
